While this blog is not specifically focused on healthy motivations or fitness, your health is still an integral part of life improvement.
Most writings you see these days on health mostly focus on weight loss or body building. While weight loss and body building are great aspects of our awesome body, they are both very vainly motivated.
If you are only motivated by fitting into jeans or looking good in the mirror then your new diet or exercise regimen won’t last very long at all
The motivation behind your action of dieting and exercise must be based on Health.
Every time you make a meal or decide to turn on the tv you must think about the ramifications to your health. If you begin to live a healthy lifestyle of exercise to keep your blood pumping and healthy nutritious food to keep you energized, the desirable effects of weight and a good looking body will come naturally. I’m sure most of you have heard a ton of the health tips, but here are just a few to try to add into your habits.
- Drink lots of Water
- Exercise in the Morning
- Eggs
- Meal Frequency and Size
Water has so many awesome benefits for your body and its really true; nothing tastes as good as a cold glass of water. A liter when you wake up to kick start the digestive system and a liter at night to give your body something to work with are highly suggested by most health professionals. Even though you should not drink a lot of water right after eating because it will wash out your digestive enzymes acting on your food, you should try to drink as much water as possible every day to wash out your system and keep yourself hydrated. Even if you are slightly dehydrated, your metabolism will begin to drop without the necessary water.
This one is totally from personal experience. I used to be a late night guy who slept in every morning and anything before 8 am sounded like torture, but after beginning to run consistently in the mornings over the last few months I understand the huge benefit. Its the perfect time to exercise because it kick starts the heart and metabolism for the rest of the day. Also, a walk or run out in the morning feels great! The birds are chirping, the air is fresh and crisp, and its a great way to get yourself out of the sluggishness of semi-conciousness.
This one may not be for everyone, but I have read that eggs are pretty much the best possible breakfast as well as just a great source of protein. People who eat eggs in the morning usually burn about 300 more calories throughout the day because eggs are such a pure form of nutrition. Eggs are the perfect muscle building food and gives you the protein that everyone needs. I eat about 2 organic eggs every morning and I have noticed an awesome increase in energy through the day.
You may have heard that, for people who are health nuts or body builders, you should eat six meals a day, but everyone should use this tip. Six small meals a day gives your body an easier job of digesting and metabolizing the food portions given to it. Also, a huge tip is to control the size of your meals. You need to find your “full-meter” and listen to it when you are snacking or when you are preparing your meal. Only eating what you need is the best way to control weight and stay healthy and energized.
These are just a few healthy motivations and I encourage you to continue finding things that work for you on your trek to good health. Now see yourself as a super healthy and motivated person, imagine all the benefits, and get started!
