Love Your Life

3 Ways to Prioritize your Goals

We all could use ways to prioritize our goals.  Sometimes we work very hard, but seem to accomplishing nothing!  Hopefully, this will help you achieve the big results in your life!

  1. Do the Important things first
  2. If you want something to be first in your life then make sure its what you focus on the second you wake up! If you want to be healthy, go exercise! If you want to have God first in your life, get up and read the bible. If you need to work on your relationships, call those whom you care about first thing in the morning and let them know! By starting your day off with your most important task, you can keep your focus on it the rest of the day without the pain of neglect over your head all day.

  3. CONSTANT reminders
  4. If you have a mind that tends to wander, then you may want to get a leash. Give your mind a tug back to where your focus should be by placing sticky notes or to do lists at your normal work places. If you are constantly distracted by tv or the computer put a reminder on them too! By bringing your focus back on what you want you can accomplish so much more!

  5. Make it fun
  6. Don’t pressure yourself into things you label as “responsibilities” and “i have to’s”, but instead visualize all the good that can come of your important tasks. Focus on the love you will receive from your family by by being patient or working hard. Focus on the success of a new business venture or the great feeling of accomplishment on a difficult task. By using this last way to prioritize and achieve your goals and remembering the great parts of your tasks, you will find it much easier to put them above the monotony of everyday life!
